About this Walk

Capitol Hill Crescent’s 1950’s bungalow homes are a valuable resource of doors that should be enjoyed as street art. Learn about the original home owners and the 25 unique windows of the era before they disappear. Every piece of “art” has been titled by Linda Gerhardt, the presenter. Magazine photos and advertisements from the 1950’s will give participants an insight into furniture, fashion, food–all things ’50’s. Quiz questions will be part of the journey. This walk is meant to be fun and informative.

Participants are invited to wear period 1950-1960 clothing. Look for Linda Gerhardt at the Banff Trail C-Train location wearing an original 1950’s pink dress.
