About this Walk

Located only 15 minutes west of Calgary, Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park offers breathtaking views of Alberta’s rolling foothills, Rocky Mountains and Bow River. Deer, coyote, mountain blue birds, osprey and bald eagles are regularly sited in the park. The sunrises and sunsets experienced at the park offer lighting that draws photographers from all over. Join long time park volunteer and nature photographer Ken Wright as he takes you to some of his favorite spots, offering tips on how to capture a great nature photo.

Stunning views and a surprising park history (spoiler: there was once a town here!), make this walk one you don’t want to miss.
