About this Walk

Join us for a ~1.5 km walk around the community of Bridgeland-Riverside.

We will start and finish at the Village Piazza (in front of the Starbucks on 1 Ave NE) and spend 1.5 hours round trip. On this Jane’s walk we’ll look at several important services that the City of Calgary provides related to water and waste. We’ll also look at some unique community-led initiatives in Bridgeland-Riverside and discuss tangible ways that you can take action at home and in your own community to conserve water and reduce waste. Representatives from Waste & Recycling Services and Water Services at the City of Calgary will lead the tour and provide information at key stops along the way.

Tour participants are encouraged to share their own insights and experiences while we walk.
